How Should I Use Coverstar?

What’s Not Allowed on Coverstar?
To keep Coverstar safe and inclusive, certain behaviors and content are strictly prohibited:
Bullying, Harassment, Bigotry, Violence, or Threats
- Bullying and Harassment: Do not post or share content that could be perceived as bullying, abuse, defamation, harassment, or targeted hate.
- Bigotry: Avoid any form of hate speech, discrimination, or harmful stereotypes based on race, gender identity, religion, or other attributes.
- Violence: Never threaten, promote, or encourage violence, self-harm, or harmful ideologies.
- Threats: Any threats, direct or indirect, will not be tolerated. This includes cybersecurity threats or the promotion of hate groups.
Spam, Trolling, Misinformation, or Promotion
- Spam: Avoid repetitive content or unnecessary flooding of inboxes.
- Trolling: Don’t use Coverstar to instigate conflict or mislead others.
- Misinformation: Do not share false information, impersonate others, or obstruct civic responsibilities.
- Promotion: Unauthorized promotion of products, services, or illegal activities is not allowed.
Sexual Content
- Sexual Harassment: Never share or threaten to share explicit content without consent.
- Soliciting Sex: Do not engage in or request inappropriate sexual behavior.
- Sexualization of Minors: Any content or behavior involving the sexualization of minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the proper authorities.
What If I See Someone Violating These Guidelines?
Our advanced moderation tools and team work diligently to enforce these guidelines, but some content may occasionally slip through. If you encounter something inappropriate, here’s what you can do:
Report It
Use the in-app Report button to flag a message or video for bullying, harassment, spam, or other violations. For urgent issues, email us at safety@coverstar.app.
Block the User
If someone is harassing you, blocking the user will prevent further contact.
Enforcement of Guidelines
Messages or content that violate these guidelines may be removed at our discretion. Repeat offenders or those committing severe violations may be permanently banned. Illegal or criminal activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Our Community Guidelines may be updated periodically, with changes taking effect immediately upon publication.
